I have never gotten so much attention for a costume before! People across the street came over to check my dog out. So many compliments! I loved the satin liner and the hidden drawstring, plus the coloring fit my dog perfectly. The tail came off a little too easily (with just a tail wag), so I skipped it, but I don’t know how you would be able to get something like that to stay on.

Alright- I admit it, this is not something I really NEEDED, but I really wanted it. We have a big german shepherd / rottweiler mix that would just look awesome in this so we just had to get it. He looked hilarious but he didn’t seem to mind. Then I got to thinking- we also have a cow…What would you do? So outside we went to bother the cow. We really tried to catch the horse, but by then she was onto us. The cow didn’t really seem to mind, nor did the dog- they just gave me the “here we go again” look. Like I said, this isn’t something you need, but I must admit it was really fun and I plan on harassing the cow some more and trying to get it on video. When you live out in the country, I guess you have alot of free time to waste. I have the comfort a star off because this did tend to slip and slide and the ears would droop. However, my lion was the life of the party.We had so many people stop us and ask us where we got his mane. We also had people lined up to take photos with him.I will say this did get a bit hot in the fun but we are also in Florida. This would be great and colder places.For the most part my lion didn’t have a problem wearing this. I think he forgot at a certain point. The mane did look a little matter but for the price you really can’t beat it.

I finally gave in and ordered this lion mane costume that I had in my Amazon wish list for more than a year. I was surprised at its good quality. It’s very easy to put on my dog. It’s like a pillowcase with openings at opposite ends. However, when I had him on a leash with his collar and the mane on, the mane would slip out IF the leash is pulled from the front. No biggie. As for the tail piece, I couldn’t figure out how to put it on my dog’s tail esp. because he already has a bushy tail. If you have a Golden Retriever, this lion mane is a must-have. What’s also nice is that it came in a reusable ziploc bag.

My family did a Wizard of Oz theme group costume this year for Halloween! I was Glinda the Good Witch, our niece was Dorothy, my partner was Scarecrow and our sweet pup was the Cowardly Lion! This lions mane costume was such a hit and really made our group costume! Our dog is around 45 pounds and this mane fit her perfectly and made her into a show stopping lion! I really enjoyed that it also came with a tail piece as well for an added lion flare!5/5 definitely recommend for fit, quality, and price! I love that this mane is adjustable with a drawstring like feature that will make it easy to fit on dogs that are larger or smaller! The drawstring easily is tucked and hidden so it doesn’t take away from the costume!

This was a total hit when we used it on our greyhound. Stays put very well and didn’t bother him at all. The costume gained lots of attention! The tail fluff wouldn’t stay on his noodle whip of a tail for anything but it didn’t matter. Best and easiest costume ever!

This Dog Lion Mane by TOMSENN is super cute, as long as you can keep it on your dog. At first when I ordered it I wondered how it would stay on tight enough to keep it on, but it actually has an elastic band around the face area that you can tighten to fit your pet. My dog put it on easily, however he also easily took it off. I couldn’t keep it on him long enough to get too many good pictures. I think after wearing it a few times maybe he will get more used to it. A very cute costume for Halloween if you plan on taking your dog trick-or-treating with you. It says “Complementary Lion Mane” but I think they actually mean complimentary lion tail. It does come with a tail piece too, so its like a complete costume.. Though I couldn’t get the tail on my dog for the life of me! HAHA. Our dog is a pit shepherd mix, and I had to tighten it quite a bit on him, so you can get the idea of size. Also, I think the built in ears are a nice realistic touch, just tuck your dogs ears under and they really resemble a lion depending on the color of your dog. Cute product, just hope I can get him more used to wearing it!~Thanx~

This has been my all time favorite amazon purchase thus far. Whoever came up with this is a genius! It arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to put on, easy to tighten without harm and it even came with a little tuft for the tail! (my dog only has a nub, so I didn’t use that part) The mane bugged her a bit at first, but she got used to it really quickly and soon became the center of attention 🙂 This thing is amazing. BUY IT!

This was the perfect costume for our 160+ lb Bullmastiff! We have tried several different lion manes, and this is by far the best. The ears make it look so real and the color is perfect! The looks on people’s faces?! Priceless!
