It turns out that drinking from a boot is trickier than expected. To avoid a mess, point the toe up toward the left or right as the glass is emptied. If the toe if pointed directly up while you’re drinking, air will fill the toe and result in built-up pressure.

As the story goes, World War I German generals would drink from their boots if a battle was won to inspire their men and ignite loyalty and camaraderie.
Another story describes German soldiers sharing beer boots during World War II, each one drinking from the boot and flicking the tip for luck before passing the boot to the next man. Whatever the truth, beer boots have been around for years and grown in popularity in the U.S. over the last decade.

I only wish I would have bought this sooner. Holds exactly 3 – 12oz beers. The glass is very thick which helps keep your beer cold. I am truly enjoying this purchase. It goes well with this quarantine.

Worked great for my brother’s wedding. Helped get some people drunk and especially my brother. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed seeing this glass get passed around and drank out of. Made for an awesome experience. I can’t comment on the durability since it wasn’t dropped and it was only used for one day so far. Definitely worth the money and worth the experience you will have with it.

I bought two of these, thought it would be great to have a pair of them. There’s enough difference between the two that they weren’t cast to be identical. Gives the feel of hand crafted art. For durability, they’re glass. I’ve been careful not to drop them but don’t get the idea that they would survive a drop test. Like them so I’m not going to do the test myself. 🙂

The first one I got had a hole in it but I asked for a replacement and the company replaced it no problem big thumbs up for that and the actual boot is very festive and the center of attention of the party
