I got this as a Christmas exchange gag gift. It received many laughs! Keep in mind this pillow is not pre stuffed so you need to pick up stuffing for it and it is really only for decoration, not comfort.

First of all, it does not come with a pillow inside. It does say it’s a ‘pillow cover’, but none of the pictures showed it as only a pillow case so it didn’t register with me. Thankfully I had a pillow the right size, since it was a last-minute gift.I would have given the product by itself only 1 or 2 stars, but I took the price into consideration when leaving my review. For less than $15 I can’t complain too loudly. I will point out why I say it’s only a one or two star product, though, for anyone else looking to buy.1. It is ONLY a pillow case, not a pillow as pictured in the description.2. On the solid side you can quite clearly see the face when looking at it from an angle or in bright light. My friends have a red pillow from this company and complain of this, and the gold that I bought definitely has the problem. See the first two photos for an example. The first is the ‘solid’ side, and the next shows the comparison between sides.3. the face was painted on after the sequins were put on, while they were all laying down. Since the sequins overlap, this means that only half of each sequin on the face side is painted, the half under the sequin above was not painted. This is an issue because they rotate naturally as people play with the pillow. Eventually this leads to most of the face sequins showing part painted face, part unpainted white, giving the face a low-resolution look to it. See the second two photos to see the face sequins that are only half painted.4. Sequins were falling off of the edges even before I gave the pillow as a gift the next day. Not horribly, and not all over, but still poor quality.

Get the red one
You can make it look like he has those anime nose bleeds and it’s hilarious, 10/10 pillow cover. It does not come with an insert so you’ll need to get that from elsewhere!

Drunk Ordering
Ordered this completely drunk and didn’t remember. Was very confused when Nick Cage arrived at my house, but not upset.These are only the covers, and are 12in x 12in. Great quality. I love them. Not soft, but entertaining.Sober me will be ordering more.

Who doesnt need a Nicolas cage sequined pillow?
I have loved Nicolas Cage for decades. For reason unknown to me, even to this day. Hubby went out of town at the same time I happened across this gem of an item while perusing yet more junk I dont need. I had to have it. Mind you, this is JUST A PILLOWCASE. not a whole pillow. I saw, I ordered and I received before hubs returned. Took him a few passes to notice it and he just snorted and shook his head. He gets me. And now I have a little nick cage in my bed at all times. Quality is ok, the sequins move well and none have detached yet. My 4 and 6 year old like playing with it. I have discovered a whole genre of these pillows with other faces and I now know what everyone is getting for Christmas this year!

Big Hit at the Company Gift Exchange
Best gift of the company holiday party, it exchanged hands a few times before the gift exchange was over. Many laughs were had over the iconic Nicholas Cage and his ruby red tears, lips, eyes, etc.Reminder, this is only a pillow case/cover, it is not stuffed.

Best money I ever spent!
I bought this as just a random silly gift for my husband who is a huge Nick Cage fan, and I am sooooo happy I did!I opened the package, and put the case on the pillow I bought separately. I made sure only the red sequins were showing and handed it to my husband saying, “I know when I was really stressed a while back you gave me one of these color changing pillows, so I wanted you to have one, too, but this one has your favorite superhero on it.” I sat back as he slowly starting moving his hand across the pillow to reveal the image. It took him a second and said incredulously, “Nicholas Cage!? You got me a pillow with Nicholas Cage on it!? This is the most awesome and creepy thing I think I have ever seen. I don’t know who came up with this, but I want to shake their hand.”Best. Idea. Ever. <3

I mean, for a purchase that was made in the middle of the night after taking Ambien, this has provided some serious laughs and much needed entertainment. Got this for my best friend (in gold) and my brother-in-law (in red) for Christmas. The mixed looks of awe and horror when they opened their gifts was the greatest Christmas gift I could have gotten. Not only is my brother-in-law taking this pillow back to his dorm to show the ladies he has great taste in pillows, but my best friend’s niece spent an entire night snuggled up to Nic Cage’s smiling face, or as she likes to call it “creepy pillow man”.If you’re looking for an especially romantic feel for Valentine’s Day, buy the red and only uncover Nic Cage’s eyes and mouth and connect them so they make a heart. Creepiest pillow of all time
If you want a creepy pillow that’s not particularly comfortable to use as a pillow, this is your pillow. Both of my boys picked this out independently for a gag gift exchange, and now I have two of these creepy pillows at my house. As the story goes, they both wanted to mess with their uncles, but it backfired… so beware the Cage karma. It’s a thing. Now he just stares at us. While we sleep.

Feels like the real thing
Is Nicholas cage made of pillow? Or is this pillow made of Nicholas Cage? I got this for my mom as a joke, but she loves it. Now every time I go for a visit I see this staring at me. Ridiculous in all the best ways. Bought it as a gift and can’t wait to see his reaction. The sequins aren’t perfect. The picture obviously isn’t printed in the whole circle so if they happen to turn you get a lot of white spots. And some of them seem permanently stuck in one direction. But it’s cheap. And it’s Cagey.I did opt for an 18×18 insert to fill out all the edges and corners and it worked perfectly.

Great Father’s Day Gift!
My son saw this and had to have it to give to his dad for Father’s Day. His dad loathes Nick Cage, so it was a hilarious idea. I had to search for filling at the last minutes, so bought some cheap bed pillows and used half the stuffing to fill it with. The size was a little smaller than I expected, but I never read the dimensions before I bought it. It was a great gift, he loved it.

When I ordered the product, I expected a pillow. This is in fact just a pillow case. However with a $5 pillow from the dollar tree as filling, it is absolutely perfect. This is the chaotic energy my home needs.

Absolute necessity for your home
Most of the complaints on here are due to poor quality or lack of an actual pillow and only the pillow case. Do be aware that the pillow isn’t inside, but if you can read that’s pretty obvious. While it is to my standard, you get what you pay for at $10. The zipper kinda sucks, not all of the sequins like to cooperate very well. Other than that however, stellar product. It’ll be enjoyed by yourself, guests and intruders for as long as you welcome this piece of magnificent artwork inside your home. This would also be a fantastic housewarming gift to any new neighbors moving into your complex or neighborhood provided you place a pillow inside first. It might even win over that special someone you’ve been trying to impress if you give the right presentation. This item will make any home feel more comforting and complete.

Worth a laugh
When I buy gifts for others I am really buying for me, and this cover is a prime example. My sister personally hates Nic Cage but again this gift is really for me and I love it.The pros:It’s a pretty neat conversation piece at the very least. You can also get very creative and write words with the sequence to make them look like captions, or even cover Nic cage up and just reveal the eyes or smile. the posibilites with what to do with the sequence and Nic Cage’s face are endless. Also, the sequence is just fun to constantly flip up and down regardless of any specific design.The cons:There is a border seam going around the cover that actually makes it very hard to flip the sequence to be all uniform one way or another. It should also be noted that this doesn’t come with a pillow and is just a pillow cover. Inevitably, constantly flipping the sequence back and forth has caused a few pieces to come off which can be annoying.Overall: This is a fun gag that is worth a few laughs and even if your giftee doesn’t like Nic Cage, they can still get a fancy sequence pillow cover in whatever color you pick.

I thought it came with a pillow. Had to spend twice as much to buy a craft 18×18 insert. Hopefully it will fit. There are also several sequins missing and they’re scattered around so the pattern has many blank spots peppered throughout.

Not a full pillow, beware!
Ordered this as a gift for a friend and was disappointed to review a small package that just contained the pillow cover, not a pillow itself. Now I will have to go order a pillow for this to fit onto. Also, the sequins are hard to flip and are prickly, leaving my fingers sore. Would not put this on a bed or anywhere else you would rest your head.

It’s stupid, but it’s great. This was a random, impulse purchase for my kid who thought it was hilarious. Nicholas Cage keeps popping up in random places all over the house, and it’s been really fun. Don’t forget throw a 16×16” pillow in the cart to go inside it because this is just a pillow cover. The one I bought to go with it was Foamily brand, and it’s perfect for it.

This pillow case is well made . There were no missing sequins and Nicolas Cage looks great! Keep in mind the pillow is sold separately! I bought this pillowcase and a pillow for it for a friend who was going through A hard time. I swiped the sequins to the red side so she didn’t know what she got until she played with them . She was so surprised! This pillow put a big smile on her face ! She couldn’t stop laughing. She posted a video of her gift on FB and Instagram . She said it’s her favorite pillow and she smiles every time she looks at it . Mission accomplished!!

I got this for a co-worker who spoke enviously of one that his son’s girlfriend had. I put it on his desk before he got to work. He roared with laughter when he finally got in that day, it was great. The product was meh to be honest. Several of the sequins fell off (maybe 4 or 5) just in transit from my home to my work space, though 99% of them were fine. Besides the laugh I got out of it, I give it a meh. The thing is covered in sequins so it isn’t comfy at all, is brightly colored so wouldn’t go well with any sort of “normal” decoration.

This thing is freaking HILARIOUS. My boyfriend likes Night at the Museum, so I figured a Nick Cage pillow would be a nice random gift. This did not disappoint. It’s only a pillow cover but luckily, I had some extra stuffing from another pillow that was too stuffed. I filled it up and swiped it to the red sequin side and left it on his couch for him to find when he gets home. Can’t wait till he realizes it’s secretly a nick cage pillow.

My favorite gift I’ve given!
I have a friend that unironically loves good ol Nic Cage. When I saw this, I impulsively bought it, and gave her a half birthday present. She lost it when she saw it, and now it is an staple part of her office furniture. When I visit her I see how everyone doodles on his face, or people who hate him staring at them swipe glitter side over his eyes. Good gift for someone with a good sense of humor

if you clicked on this then you already know you’re the person that needs this in your life. got it for my little brother as an xmas gift and basically its everything you want it to be. one of the cheapest gifts i gave but honest to god probably the best.the only “negative” was he could slightly tell something was under the gold sequins but really it in no way affected the reveal consensus was we didn’t care. 100% worth my money 10/10 would buy again.

Matches the price point
I bought this for a mean Santa gift swap. We couldn’t spend over $10. In that regard, this pillowcase hits all the necessary marks. Weird and unsettling and cheap. The effect is pretty neat but the angle may give away that there’s a weird face behind the sequins since when you have it turned right side up, they don’t lay totally flat but I think I can work around it and it’s fine for less than $10.
