It’s really heavy if you plan to mail it to someone.
I was a little disappointed in this because it was so heavy. The well for pens was shallower . I don’t know how well it will hold pens. I put a oen in and it didn’t hold very well. And it would be expensive to mail to my nephew for Christmas.
Raye Lynn Fuller –
Pretty good.
Would like the magnetic side to be a little more magnetic. It does hold a few paperclips. Otherwise very nice!
C busser –
Heavy
The hand pen holder is very cool and sturdy. It’s heavy and the magnetic end is a good idea.

Ordered as a gift but did try it out good sturdy item quite heavy it’s not going to slip and slide on the surface it’s on,giving four stars because I think the way the thumbs are positioned could become annoying after a while they tend to block the screen of the tablet/ phone but overall a nice quirky gift .

Cute, but cup is shallow and capacity is low relative to desktop “handprint”
The Tech Tools Desktop Madness Series Hand Pencil holder is very cute, but I am disappointed with the product. The biggest problem is the shallow pencil-holding cup — it’s only 2 inches deep! Normal-sized pens and pencils, which are about 6 inches long, are likely to tumble out of the cup if lightly bumped. There is no way that you would put normal-sized scissors in the cup (as in the photo of the product). The capacity of the pencil holder is much too small given the product’s large, er, desktop handprint. I would also have preferred a ceramic hand, but the product IS clearly labeled as plastic/cement mix (whatever that means). It does look nice on the desk, but given its size, cost, and low capacity, I’m still not sure if I’m going to keep it. Buyer beware.

Heavy and well made
I bought this to put a plant in. I thought it was hilarious. Holds a small succulent really well. Helps keep a grip on things…

Bought one for everyone in the Family!
I happened to buy one of these at a yard sale and fell in love with it-it solved the ‘where’s my cell phone dilemma’ I faced on a daily basis. I could not find these for sale anywhere locally and didn’t what they were actually called-having purchased it without a box. It was pure luck I discovered these and bought 3 of them for family members-everyone of them love their ‘helping hands’.

This hand will trump all the others
This is a really big hand for holding pens. I’d say it’s the biggest. Go take a look at the fist of the biggest guy you know. Tell him to hold your pens. This is like that only bigger and without the guy. In fact, it’s huge. I have lots of pens and I have to say, as a pen holder, it’s just fantastic. And nothing holds pens better than this hand, believe me. It’s the handiest. Especially if you have small hands, which I don’t, but if you do, this is terrific.

Not so HANDy, but looks grneat
Absolutely fell in love with this product when I saw it online. When it arrived, however, I wasn’t as thrilled. The design matches the picture and the hand is realistic and heavy but the pen holder depth is too small and too shallow. When I replaced my old pen holder I could only fit half of the items in this new “fist” product. Also, the magnet isn’t very strong and most of the paperclips slide to the bottom and rest on my desk if there are more than 6-8.That being said, I don’t need 25 different pens and pencils. I also haven’t had any trouble with items falling out, so the shallow depth hasn’t been a problem other than it’s not what I expected. I get compliments on how cool it is and have kept it around. I wouldn’t recommend this product for its utility. For aesthetic appeal it’s a winner. Depends what you’re looking for.

Works for iphone in vertical positon, and ipad in landscape…not so much vice versa
I seen someone else that had a similar stand, but it wasnt exactly the same. The thumbs on this one stick up pretty high, making it almost useless if holding an iphone 6 in landscape mode as the thumbs cover up most of the screen. The one my friend owned (different brand) hand the thumbs stick out more to the side and were smaller….so it wasnt nearly as bad.Works good for holding the phone vetically though. And does look pretty cool. Just wish they had more colors. My friend owned a black one. Also, can hold an ipad air in landscape mode, but it will topple over if holding it vertically.I usually end up using it to hold my hard drives when I have them connected.Might even end up painting it to make it look cooler.I also own some Gripz guitar holders and they all look pretty fitting together.I still recommend, but just be weary of what I mentioned above if those are your intended uses.

Very good for holding cell phone
I like that it worked as advertised and that it looks pretty doing it. Gives a touch of class to my desktop

I’ll Hand it to Amazon
I sent for the Hand Cell Phone Holder in white after my son gifted me a black one. I love them both! I have one in my home office and one at work. I get a lot of compliments on it and many coworkers ask me where I purchased it. I’m sure Amazon will get more orders. The product looks and feels sturdy. It holds my phone or wallet perfectly. Sometimes I lay my glasses on it. My order arrived quickly and well packaged. Thank you Amazon.

Creative and effective. Two thumbs up!
I used this setup at home and at work. I also bought the companion pen holder and they absolutely amazing! I can read my messages or listen to music while I work. I also sometimes use it to watch instructional videos while I cook in the kitchen because it’s easy to place ANYWHERE

So cool that I bought 2
It’s a pretty basic product, but it works great, is really solid and super handy as a fun charging station. In fact, I was so impressed after buying it that I went back and bought another one.

Great value
Fob works great. Ford house quoted me $75for one item plus $125 to program the fob. Programing instructions ate included in thispackage. Win-win!!
M.E. –
Shallow
I like how it loomks, but it is very shallow, it cannot hold a full sized pair of scissors, or fresh once shaprened pencils. I fixed it by taping an index card into it to support taller objects like new pencils, had to find other means for my craft scissors. so you can rig it work better and it still looks artful and nice. But it really is too shallow for a set of new pencils.

Great gift!
Practical, useful and decorative. Loved it so much I bought another for my own house

“Blue dot” but otherwise a great buy!
It arrived promptly and it was in new condition as described in the description. All except for a very small tiny blue dot that I’m not sure why it’s there. Considering this is an object which is all over bright white in color, in my opinion it’s very noticeable. Otherwise, it’s exactly as described!

Great fun… everyone comments on it
This worked so good for my phone that I ordered a second set of hands for my remote. I’m always losing it, the hands hold it securely and in plain sight.

Cell Phone Holder Perfection!
There could not be a more appropriate cell phone holder than a pair of hands!! I already own the matching hand pencil/pen holder and hand bookends so, when I saw this cell phone holder I knew it was exactly what I needed. My cell phone ends up under a mountain of paperwork while working which is such a “pain” when I need to use the phone to contact a client! This cell phone holder is the perfect solution for my Note 9 phone; not only is it sturdy (no accidently knocking it over or the cell phone out of it), it is solidly built making it a “forever” holder. The design allows the cell phone to stand up or lay on its side, will hold a variety of different sizes/types of cell phones and provides me easy access to my phone at all times…no more digging through paperwork to find my phone. Not only do I have easy access to my phone, I can use the phone while it is being held by “another pair of hands”! This would make an awesome gift for anyone; I have had many people comment on my cell phone holder wanting to know where I found it!! I highly recommend purchasing this for yourself or as a gift.
Mallory Passow –
I thought it would be bigger.
I know that it’s already a giant paperweight, but I was hoping to get more pens, pens, etc., in it. I also feel like it isn’t as deep as it should be and that some top-heavy items might fall out of it. I like the look of it, and it’s more than adequate at holding down my papers on my desk.

The advertisement was everything it said it would be.
The first one I bought is sitting on my desk. I loved it so much it didn’t take me long to decide to order more. The second one sits on our kitchen counter. They have made wonderful gifts and have been a conversation piece. Yes I am very happy and strong;y recommend this as a gift either for yourself or for friends and family.
SGBear98 –
charismatic, but not efficient
It is a wonderful addition to my desk in the category of uniqueness. I have received plenty of comments to the effect of “how cool” it is. Image aside though it isn’t efficient in the pen holder, paperclip holder classification. The cup part of the hand is roughly 2 inches deep (considering most pens are 5 1/2 inches high, well over half the pen sticks out). The cup holds approximately 9-10 pens (it may hold a few more if you are using the smaller variety of pens). The back part of the hand has a magnet inside so that you can put paperclips on the back. It is a nice little function, however the magnet is only strong enough to support about 15-18 large paperclips (which again, if you are using the tiny paperclips I am sure you would be able to put several more on).I don’t regret my purchase, in fact despite its short comings as functional I still enjoy it immensely. I wanted something different and unique; considering I work in a medical office it was a perfect match.

Beautiful, sturdy, and hands free typing, if needed!
I LOVE these hands. They look beautiful in the bright white, and I have had many compliments and “where did you get that!” I have an iPhone 8 plus, and I keep this near to me at my desk keyboard. It has never fallen or tipped. Very sturdy. When I am at my computer keyboard, I look over and I can see my screen light up, and I am able to know who called right away, or click the side button of my phone to lock the screen. I have even typed a text or two back to people, without ever having to remove the phone from the hands. I really am in love with these hands! Great product! Thank you:)

Fun for Desk
I love this. I gave it four stars though because I wish the holder was a little deeper. It doesn’t hold a lot, but I didn’t buy it for that reason. It is very sturdy and is just a fun item to have on my desk.

Real conversation starter!
THIS is just way too cool. It is larger than I expected, smoother than I expected, and weightier than I expected (even though I read specs before ordering). Very well done and quite fun to use and look at! Aside from that, it has practical uses as well. My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, with solid rubber case, fits in it with plenty of room to spare. Could also be used to cradle my Kindle Paper White, iPad mini, etc. This is a real steal at the price, and would make awesome gift for that boss/co-worker who is impossible to buy for! 😊Had to jump back online and add this to review. Speaking of practical uses, I just discovered it is pretty awesome bracelet and watch holder! Just loop them around the thumbs!

Aforeable, Useful
This item is heavy and sturdy. Not excessively heavy. but will not topple over. And cute besides. I use it regularly for my phone. It is within reach and also holds phone while charging. I just like looking at it.

Great gift
This was a gift and it was definitely a very good choice. The birthday girl thought it was super! It has a solid weight to prevent flying around desk. Can’t add a photo since it’s already left my place. I checked it out when it arrived and it was a fun design and very good construction.

Best features? Design of the outside of the container
1. Does the description of the actual product match the actual product? The actual size of the container for the pens is smaller than the picture would indicate. I found that disappointing.2. Is the product design original? I think so. I find it clever and attractive on my desk.3. Best features? Design of the outside of the container.4. Features that could be improved? The depth of the actual pen holder.5. Definitely clever but not as functional as I’d hoped.

Well Made Novelty Item, Surprisingly “Handy”
Great product, looks very nice against a white desk or nightstand. The hand is not so large, but not so small either, the size being of about a large grapefruit, mimicking woman hands. The hand itself doesn’t stay completely flat on the table; it has a very minuscule back and forth “wobble” but that only makes it easier and more intuitive to place a phone/item on and off the hand. The hand has a nice hefty weight to it, making it a lovely paperweight as well. The two thumbs on the front double as ring holders, and the thumbs can be used to hang bracelets as well. Overall very nice novelty item that has surprisingly come in very handy.

Unique
I purchased “Hand Holder” from the Desktop Madness Series as a gift for my cell phone loving friend! She is constantly either on her cell phone or leaving it someplace and then can’t find it. Well I thought this would be the perfect gift for her. She loved it!! And guess what?? So do I. So I am going to give myself one for Christmas. Thanks so much for the great gift. Oh! One more thing….it also makes a great paperweight. Sorry I couldn’t send a picture, I don’t know how.

Perfect for Working From Home or even Binging Netflix!!
I absolutely love this cell phone holder! I no longer have to prop my cell phone up against things just to watch it slide down. Not to mention, it has a really sleek design. People love it…so artsy!

Clever, unique and functional!
I love this and think it’s so clever and unique! I’m a hair stylist and it’s very functional, allowing me to see and read things that come up without touching my phone. Clients love and and always comment!

but I keep mine just like the pic with one yellow note and paper clips
Funky way to hold pens on desk at work. I also bought white stapler, tape dispenser, calculator, etc. The magnetic part not the strongest, but I keep mine just like the pic with one yellow note and paper clips. I wasn’t sure I should keep this only because I was in an accident and needed hand surgery like a couple weeks after purchasing it, lol, but I showed a pic to my surgeon and he chuckled. I liked this way better than the hand bookends. The details of the skin lines and nails, etc. more realistic.

perfect for a gift to the person who has everything!
I bought this for someone who is very difficult to buy for! He is one of those people that has everything. This is why this is such a perfect gift. So very unique, funny and a definite conversation starter! Perfect for all ages! It came the next day, on time and in perfect packaging. Highly recommend..

Adorable. Great quality.
Adorable. This particular one I bought for my 5yo nephew to avoid holding parents phone to watch shows. I may get another for myself. Also buying wall key holder for myself. So fun & unique!
Mollie Ganier –
Looks great, but not stable.
The pen/pencil holder does not hold light weight pens or pencils well. They fall out if you place a few in the hand due to their length and light weight. If the pens or pencils are short, then yes they would be more stable. If you’re placing regular pens or pencils, it’s best to fill the hand with other tools like small scissors to help support the pens/pencils.

Great product!!!
LOVE this product! Will probably buy another for home (since the one I bought was for my office).

better than the photo
Our dining room table has sort of become my home office work desk. I needed something that functioned well as a supplies holder but didn’t look like one so that it wouldn’t look so office like if friends or neighbors came over. I wasn’t sure what to expect but took a chance anyway. I used to be a buyer for the retail store at a contemporary art museum. The quality, detail and sturdiness all fit within the same standards I would have used. Although I try not to keep it crammed full, it really can hold quite a bit. I’m going to say it was one of my favorite purchases in 2013. And it adds a bit of creativity sitting with me each day.

Fun stand that fits larger phones with cases but the only drawback is that the thumbs are in the way…
This product is fun and will hold your phone if you have a bigger one or one with a bulkier case. The only real issue is that the thumbs are a bit in the way if you still want to use your device while it sits upright. If you wish to use it in landscape (horizontal), the thumbs will definitely be in the way. This also goes to anyone wanting to use it for a tablet. The other thing is that if you want to charge it while it sits, you have to keep the phone horizontal as there is no way to accommodate the wire as it sits vertical. It has a good solid weight to it and will certainly hold your phone or device without the risk of falling over to easily. It can also double as a paperweight. If your looking for a stand that’s functional and that allows you to use the phone while it sits, I’d recommend the “iPhone Stand (Black) Sold by Keynamics” found here on Amazon. I just purchased that one as well to test which I liked more and that one wins it for me. It’s also practically the same price and fits my phone great without fear of slipping or falling off. You can find my more detailed review of that one on there.

Fist bump buddies
I just recently received this product and I’m very happy with it, when I ordered it I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be deep enough to hold anything by the way some reviews read. It is true it isn’t as deep as a normal pen holder and I wouldn’t recommended this product if you have several things you need to hold in one thing but I myself don’t have that much I need to be held so It’s perfect for what I have. It holds all my pens, sharpies, highlighters perfect I haven’t had any problems with anything falling out when I go to remove a pen to use. The product also has a great weigh behind it so there’s no chance of it falling over, defiantly heavier then I thought but I find that a plus so i don’t knock it about my desk also has a pad on the underside so it wouldn’t move anyways even if it was lighter. It’s a very great way to start up a conversation when people come by plus it has the bonus of giving out fist bumps when you complete a project.

Great product!
I am very happy with the purchase of this product. I am behind a desk for the majority of my work week and I like to be able to have background noise. A lot of the time I will put a movie on my phone using Netflix. I have tried propping up my phone numerous ways but it always ends up sliding back down. I finally decided to purchase this after looking at a few other options. This product is not only effective but it looks great as well. I love the hands holding the phone! It is not light, it is pretty heavy and does not tip over easily. It also only takes up minimal space on my desk. My ONLY problem would be if I wanted to set my phone up vertically you could not keep It hooked up to charge at this same time. Thankfully most things look better when the phone is horizontal so this is not usually a problem. I would highly recommend this product and would make this purchase again.

Too funny
I love quirky thinks so recently find myself collecting hands. So weird, I know, but this particular hand makes me laugh every day :—) I used mine as a planter instead of a pen-holder. What would you use it for?

A spot of happiness for your desk!
Bought for my iPhone and ended up using for video camera. Love how it’s now so easy to make quick adjustments between one computer and the other. Can scoot it over to hide a mess (hah) without having to reach above the monitor while everyone looks at my armpit – no one needs to see that. And it just makes me smile. Which is a good thing to do when you Zoom all day long.

An extra hand to hold the phone.
The media could not be loaded.
I recently purchased a speaker that attaches to my phone and with that speaker the other holders or selfie sticks are not white enough to hold my cell phone. This is perfect I love how sturdy it is so it won’t drop the cell phone or whatever else it’s holding. It would be ideal for a remote control also.

Big
OK so I know this is supposed to be somewhat large due to the fact that it is a pen holder but it is not what I expected. The wrist is a little bigger than it should be for the hand and the “basin” the fist provides is not very deep or wide. I could def not fit all the items in mine that are in the picture example. Those things aside, I still like this. I five pens in it that are sparkly and girly (I work with all men, they won’t steal my girly pens). The stub of the wrist/arm has a magnet in it. You can put paper clips or whatever else will stick to a magnet to it, it is my favorite feature! I work in a warehouse and can be slightly morbid…I am in charge of safety and therefore have the extra razor blades…I keep a handful of them attached to the magnet for easy access and because it seems slightly wrong to have a razor blade (or five) attached to a stub of a hand lol.Overall fun desk product.

Very good quality!
I bought this for my adult daughter for Christmas. I liked it so much I bought myself one, too! It is much nicer than I expected. It’s very sturdy, has a good weight to it, not flimsy or light weight, and makes a great gift. When not in use it looks like a piece of art on your table or desk. It goes with any decor. Highly recommended.

So cute but cup is small
