In 1974, Peter Jenkins started his company with a ‘warehouse in Boston’, importing whimsical textiles and colorful ceramics from Europe. Now, over 40 years later, we are still at it. Maybe the countries have changed, maybe we’ve expanded a bit and moved into bigger digs as the list of products and categories has grown but we are still here bringing our brand and unique style of creative products to homes across America.

i have bought several of these for my family and as gifts. have not had one break yet and its been years now. this pivots very easily on curved surfaces cutting kitchen preparation in time by a fraction. great for all sorts of veggies! very nice and sharp. Very safe to handle. This is a superior product that is well worth the price. I have bought other peelers that were supposed to be great but this one is so simple and functions exactly as intended.

I have used a lot of peelers and this one is by far my favorite. I have had mine for OVER 5 years and I still love it! I bought one for my son and his girlfriend and they were so excited as they used mine before and wanted one too.

This makes me happy. It isn’t perfect (could use a narrow end for more directed pouring our into another container, and it does take up a good amount of cupboard real estate), but is the least annoying colander I’ve had so far and it makes me smile to use.

Omgawd… best peeler ever! I have bought like 10 over the last few years. They are the best gifts! So… you can peel a large potato in like 10 seconds. Mike drop….I use 2. One for fresh stuff and another one to peel butternut squash. Yes! It is that good! Also excellent for peeling citrus if you need the rind without pith.Best thing ever! 20 stars if I could!

I found this peeler maybe 10 years ago in a local cooking store. It was phenomenal. Only in the last year, it started to feel not sharp enough. Searched Amazon and there it was! So excited, I bought one for myself and one to surprise the friend who had originally told me about it. I like the whimsical shape, it’s fun, comfortable and safe though the blade is quite sharp.

I bought this for my 6 year-old niece who came over to help with Thanksgiving dinner. It was great, because she was kept busy peeling apples and I could do other things without worrying about her cutting her hand. It did slip once when she began using it, but nothing happened. Once I showed her how to use it, it did as good as a job as one an adult would use. The wide handle is great for kids with little hands. I love kids’ kitchen tools, and this one is great.

This is the best ice cream scoop. Something about the shape just makes such a big difference on cold ice cream. This one has a goofy whale on it (and isn’t packaged very nicely if it’s a gift), but it works really well!

I purchased this corkscrew as a gift for a friend along with a few other unusual kitchen items and this was by far the best made of the bunch. It is heavy, substantial, and definitely feels like it should last for a few years. My friend was extremely pleased with the way it sits upright next to her wine bottles and I thought the silicone body felt comfortable when gripping the bird.My friend’s husband was familiar with Boston Warehouse design and said, “Man, would I ever like to work at that place!” He’s an artist and furniture designer and thought that the BW design team was probably having a ton of fun dreaming up quirky kitchen tools.Update 12/2012: Just visited my friend and the bird is still going strong! He looks and behaves as new. And she’s used him to open hundreds of bottles of wine in the last two years. He never fails to be admired by party guests. Great job!

Don’t be fooled thinking this is not quality. It’s cute and it’s functional. I’ve had this peeler for years and it still works well today. Someone asked me for my old one so I bought this to replace the one I gifted.

Was truly thrilled to find this product as it will be a gift for my brother – an avid toucan fan! When it arrived, it met expectations. Very heavy and seemingly durable! Though I will say the beak seems a less-saturated orange in-person than depicted in this listing.
