My friend was extremely pleased with the way it sits upright next to her wine bottles and I thought the silicone body felt comfortable when gripping the bird.My friend’s husband was familiar with Boston Warehouse design and said, “Man, would I ever like to work at that place!” He’s an artist and furniture designer and thought that the BW design team was probably having a ton of fun dreaming up quirky kitchen tools.Update 12/2012: Just visited my friend and the bird is still going strong! He looks and behaves as new. And she’s used him to open hundreds of bottles of wine in the last two years. He never fails to be admired by party guests. Great job!
