We use this in our tiny home since we no longer have room for a larger espresso machine. It works most excellent. We love it.A nice clean shot of espresso with a decent crema, and sometimes even nicer. It is quite precise, so you have little room for error. However, when you get the variables all right, it’s going to give you a nice shot of espresso.Considering what it is and what it takes to make it work, this little device is amazing.

I purchased the 100ml larger tank separately, so to be fair, my review reflects my ability to pull much longer espresso shots.I have a “tiny living” situation and was looking for a space-saving espresso machine and stumbled upon this one. After I learned the hard way not to overfill the water/coffee and not to tamp the grounds, I developed a pretty good rhythm for quickly making yummy longshots. I drink anywhere from 3 to 6 of them a day!I don’t buy particularly nice coffee, just Costco-in-a-can, which I then grind finer. Clean up is a breeze, and it has a pretty small footprint on my counter.I have easily made at least 50 to 60 shots in the few weeks I’ve had this, and it seems to be holding up well! It dribbles a little water here and there through the process, but that’s probably me going a little faster than I should. Some may not like that it doesn’t appear to be BPA free, but with coffee this decadent I cannot begin to complain! Longshots with this seem to be almost 1/3 crema if that is important to you… It is to me! I can’t recommend this highly enough, but especially if you go to their website and pickup the larger 100ml tank, which is about 25 dollars.

Sometimes you buy something, and you’re just so glad you did. This is one of those products. This makes great espresso and is very easy to travel with. I bought the bigger water tank, which is interchangeable with the existing smaller water tank, just to be able to make more espresso more quickly. To use it, I first run through boiling water WITHOUT any espresso, then to make the espresso, I follow the instructions for use. After I’ve made the espresso, I run through boiling water again to clean it. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Confusing to use at first. But, great product. I just use cheap espresso, level off the grinds without patting it down too much, screw it together, fill the water tank, and start pressing it out. It doesn’t quite do a shot, but I’ll go ahead and press another tank through and it yields a nice little strong cup of coffeespresso. Then I add a little half ounce shot of creamer to it and it’s good to go. Then you just take the cap off, take out the espresso pod, wipe it out with your finger real quick, and rinse it with water. Besides being hard to keep your espresso warm, this is a great device which is compact and easy to pack with the little non perishable creamers to take in a bag to work or school, on trips, or especially back packing where size matters. I have noticed the top is an oval an the espresso cap doesn’t really snap on so if you buy this you 100% run the risk of having to return it to get a good one. Kind of sad with how expensive these are. But I personally have had a good experience with it. I think I’ve owned this for a year now.

We don’t travel with this, rather, we just use it at home for an espresso shot needed here and there. It is a bit fussy to make two in a row with the rinsing between but it yields delicious shots of espresso so it’s worth it.

LOVE this. I’ve been looking for a way to make espresso at home that wouldn’t take up precious counter space in my small apartment. I’ve also been wanting to switch from pour over to espresso because pour over makes me jittery. I got the larger reservoir accessory pack and can pull 3 espresso shots in about 10 min (including grinding, packing the shots, and switching the basket with the grounds out between shots). The taste is amazing and the whole set up is exactly what I needed. I also like that it isn’t noisy like an electric espresso machine.

This works so well for camping for a quick coffee craving! Took this camping over the weekend and used it few times at the office. Depending on the grinds you use, its good for a light single espresso shot or if you reuse the same grinds and purge three capfuls of water through the filter, you’ll get a full cup of coffee. Works great without lugging a glass press around in your backpacking or camp gear! Some folks probably won’t like having to pump and “work” this much for coffee, but convenience in form factor and size are the strongest attributes this unit has to offer. Easy to clean and store away with the retractable priming handle. My only gripe with this is the drink cup is just pressed in and can knocked off easily while the water reserve cup is nicely twisted on with locking detents.

We go to a lot of music festivals and camp. My one thing I hated was not having a good cup of coffee in the morning. This little thing made my day! My only complaint is that it only makes a single shot at a time. When there is a camp full of morning faced hippies waiting for a cup of coffee it can take a while! They do sell a larger water tank and extra grounds cups which I will definitely pick up before next festival season. This little gadget is a game changer with good, strong, and crema rich shots. Lattes for all!

Love this espresso maker! Bought this as a supplement to my Chemex and am glad I did. This is super quick and easy. I do wish the cleanup was a little easier since water gets trapped inside the head after each use, but still a great product. I bring this to the office and use it on a daily basis. We have two other automatic machines here, both of which make espresso, and I prefer this one. Be sure to use really hot water because it cools down quite a bit when it passes through the Minipresso. I found running hot water through a cycle first not only helps the coffee retain more heat, but also creates a much thicker crema. Make sure you have the right beans though if you really want to get the most out of it.I am thoroughly enjoying the Minipresso and would recommend it as a supplement to a traditional coffee maker.

Wow.. such a great product. Instructions were clear, though the last step might want to include “invert assembly and then pump” because I was confused for about 30 seconds when nothing happened. Also, kind of a good workout before your coffee as the pumping action will get your forearms going, but maybe I’m just weak.. Paired the maker with Illy medium roast espresso ground was the best.. even better when pumped into warm milk to make that elusive cortado with creme. Oh and I second the comments about not tamping the grounds. Maybe just a light tap with the scoop to flatten it out and you’re good. Love the espresso it makes so far. Ugh.. within the first 24 hours I made about 6 shots and enjoyed every one. I hope the product keeps up with daily, continued use. I’m always looking forward to my next coffee. I did add the extended warranty because why not.
